One of my all time favourite topics to talk about is Emotional Intelligence in Product Management (aka Product EQ).

Here’s the latest version of my presentation that I shared at Industry, the Product Conference.

The concept of leadership — similar to Product — is widely discussed and popularised these days in countless blogs, podcasts, articles, books, videos, you name it. But, based on many of my coaching conversations, I’m left with the feeling that the talk about leadership is actually leaving those new to the role more confused than ever before.

While 360 feedback is a powerful tool for identifying blind spots and increasing self-awareness, it can be overwhelming to receive raw feedback without any context or guidance for interpretation.

In my French lesson this morning, I learned that the word “réseau” means “network.” Giles, my teacher, used examples like telephone network and computer network to provide some context.

My mind immediately went to networking — like what we do here, or more and more these days, in real life.
